Fiction House, Ltd.

Fiction House, Ltd. was created in 2013 by Linda Collison and associates as a publisher of distinctive fiction, memoir, stage plays, and other creative writing. We are a small press, striving to produce imaginative, powerful stories in various formats.

Linda Collison has worked as a registered nurse, a skydiving instructor, a volunteer firefighter, a mother, a freelance writer, and other sundry occupations. Her articles and essays have been published in a wide variety of magazines and her fiction has been awarded prizes by the former Maui Writers Conference, Honolulu Magazine, and the Southwest Writers Conference. The New York Public Library chose Star-Crossed, her young adult historical novel published by Alfred A. Knopf in 2006, to be among the Books for the Teen Age –2007. Linda and her husband, Bob Russell, have sailed many thousands of miles together aboard their own sailboat. Their time spent as voyage crewmembers on the replica tall ship HM Bark Endeavour inspired Star-Crossed, which has been republished for adult readers as Barbados Bound, followed by Surgeon’s Mate; Book Two of the Patricia MacPherson Nautical Adventure Series.
